58mm Black Metal Lug Cap with Plastisol Liner

Fits Glass Jars with a 58mm Lug Neck. Lug Caps are a type of Metal Cap designed to fit glass bottles and glass jars that have a lug threading system on their neck.  The common cap used for food packaging such as jams, sauces, salsas and condiments as they apply easily, requiring only a half turn to screw on tight, and contain a Plastisol Liner to provide an airtight seal when proper packaging methods are followed.

The Metal Lug Cap contains a Standard Grade Plastisol Liner suitable for Hot Fill and Water Bath Processing when used on glass bottles.  Plastisol liners will creates an airtight seal when heated and then cooled during processing. These liners are acid resistant, making them a perfect option for  food and beverage products.
